EARTH OF BLOOD
La banda ATHANATOR de Medellín llega a la escena con un segundo disco titulado Earth of Blood, con el que nos ofrecen una buena muestra del genero thrash metal. Entre sus influencias se incluyen Slayer, Kreator, Metallica y Sepultura. Predominan las guitarras armonicas y las voces guturales. El grupo se ha inspirado en los momentos de crisis de seguridad de Medellín, los atentados, la paranoia y la muerte para inspirarse en la temática del disco.
“Somos, una generación marcada por las bombas y estallidos no solo en Medellín sino en el mundo”. Dice uno de sus integrantes. Y aunque la muerte ronde el disco, no lo hace de una manera amarillista.
